Eastern Salmon

Ingredients

2 tablespoons reduced-salt soy sauce 

2 tablespoons toasted sesame seed oil 

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 

4 spring onions, chopped 

4 x 125g fresh salmon fillets

 

Preparation time: 5 minutes + 30 minutes marinating
Cooking time: 20 minutes

A light and heart-healthy fish dish glazed in Asian flavours for a nutritious midweek supper.

 

Ingredients

2 tablespoons reduced-salt soy sauce 

2 tablespoons toasted sesame seed oil 

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 

4 spring onions, chopped 

4 x 125g fresh salmon fillets

Method

Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and onions, and pour over the salmon fillets. 

Roll the salmon in the mixture so all the sides are coated. 

Leave in fridge for 30 minutes. 

Preheat the oven to Gas mark 6/200 C/400 F 

Place salmon skin side down in a shallow ovenproof dish. 

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the fish is cooked. 

Serve with stir-fried vegetables.
